Kiwi Authers for Prosper ISD School Board Place 5
Building a Stronger District, Together.
Construction professional and community builder—committed to fiscal responsibility, empowering educators, and preparing every student for success.
Prosper ISD Deserves Strong Leadership
Prosper ISD has been one of the fastest-growing school districts in Texas. As growth begins to stabilize, the decisions we make now about how we spend every dollar, how we support our teachers, and how we prepare our students for success—whether they're headed to college or a career—matter more than ever.
As a construction professional who builds public schools, I understand the facilities side. As a father of two Prosper ISD graduates, I understand the parent side. And as someone who has dedicated years to community service, I understand theresponsibility that comes with every vote on that board.
I believe every decision the school board makes should answer one question: Does this serve our students? Whether it's budget allocations, teacher compensation, facility planning, or curriculum—students come first.
I'm not here to push an agenda. I'm preparing to serve by listening, planning responsibly, empowering our educators, and preparing every student for what comes next.
My Priorities
Building a Stronger District, Together
Listen First
Hear from students, parents, and teachers before votes are taken—not after. Good decisions start with listening.
Plan Responsibly
Every dollar should serve students. Thoughtful budgeting, fiscal stewardship, and long-term planning—not short-term fixes.
Empower Educators
Our teachers are the backbone of our district. Recruit, retain, and support the best educators through competitive compensation and professional growth opportunities.
Prepare Every Student
Strong academics plus expanded CTE career readiness. Whether headed to college or a career, every student deserves a clear path forward.

About Kiwi
I immigrated from New Zealand in 1990 and have built my life and career right here in Texas. As the owner of Authers Building Group (ABG), I have built over $1.8 billion in public schools across DFW—so I understand firsthand the facilities, budgets, and planning that go into creating great learning environments.
My wife Sharon and I raised our two children here—both proud Prosper ISD graduates (2016, 2020). This community is my home, and I'm ready to serve it on the School Board.
